Creator of LA based music and visual collective Pork & Beats, Joplin finds herself building musical “environments” anywhere; from yoga studios to downtown warehouses, art galleries to Hollywood clubs, the forest to the desert, and beyond. She has run several successful residencies over the years, including Prana in Pasadena, Delay in Long Beach and Venice, Moonshadows in Malibu, and her Deep Soul Lounge, residing within Marques Wyatt’s infamous Deep-LA.
Red Sonya (Lady Lush, Angel Eyewear, Red Alien)
Sonya Lynn, also known as DJ Red Sonya, discovered her passion for electronic music immediately after her move to southern California in 2000. House Music was her first choice of beats, yet after a decade of collecting music her collection has grown to include downtempo, trip hop, funk, soul, drum and bass, and minimal techno. Azmyth (Manifest Station)
Azmyth Kaminski has been Djing up & down the Western US Corridor for the past 10 Years. Gracing festivals, clubs & underground events alike with an ever evolving sound that mixes every electronic style of genera known to man. His early years found him Djing & touring under the moniker ‘B-SMARTER’ until 2005 when he moved to Los Angeles California, where he decided to continue his musical career solely with his name AZMYTH. He has worked with some of the best, held his best residency proudly @ SPACE ISLAND & toured to parts of Asia. He has settled in a sound that is four to the floor, yet Steppy at times. Alien Tom (Stanton, Anarchy Eyewear, Red Alien)
Alien Tom is a DJ, composer, musician, engineer, arranger and producer, and has worked in studio with Nine Inch Nails, Photek, Gavin Rossdale, Gavin Hardkiss, Jason Bentley, DJ Craze, Aldo Bender, MC Messinian, Mental Sharp, DJ Syrena, Da Dammed and many others. As a DJ, he performs at many different places including music festivals, club nights, restaurants, movie wrap parties, trade shows and retail events. His DJ sets and productions have been heard on the radio on KROQ, KCRW, 91X and KSDS. Max Neutra is a man of many trades. Painter, DJ, Producer, Writer, Photographer, Designer, it seems there is not a creative project that he shies away from. Perhaps best known for his wild and frenetic painting exploits, Max has made a name for himself as one of Los Angeles’s premier live painters, and has recently risen to the international arena during a two month painting tour across India.
With an Album release scheduled for September 2010, a book release scheduled for Xmas 2010, and several shows booked across the country, Max continues to expand his repertoire to include a wide and adventurous variety of creative endeavors.
