For over a decade, Red Sonya has consistently been playing dance music events, lounges and clubs in Southern California and Mexico. She has held several weekly and monthly residencies, and also produces many of her own events. She has DJed at various L.A. venues including King King, Complex, and Zanzibar. She has also performed at outdoor festivals Youtopia, Elysium, and Lightning in a Bottle. Although Deep House was her first vinyl fetish, her music collection quickly grew to include Down Tempo, Trip Hop, Funk, Soul, Tech House, Techno and Drum & Bass. Whatever style of music she’s playing, Red Sonya plays from her heart and soul. Whether she’s rocking a banging house set to a moving dance floor or playing a downbeat set at a restaurant or art gallery, she never disappoints. Red Sonya has made her presence known as an inspiring artist and dedicated supporter of the community
