I bartend at a Mexican Food Restaurant/Lounge, and the owner asked me to put together a mix of music for a special event that was occuring in the bar. I’m like yeah, sure… I can put something together. and this mix is what happened. We played this mix in the lounge during “Taste of Morena Blvd” 5 times in a row while people sipped margaritas and snacked on a buffet of taco fingers and black bean soup. It went off. People loved it. This isn’t typically what I’m djing out currently, but I’ve always wanted to put all these songs together in a mix. Take a listen if ya’d like! leave a comment! This mix is one of the first mixes i put together that i really liked. It covers a wide range of house music, it’s deep, it’s funky, it’s tech-y. Enjoy! Leave a Comment! Click the image below to listen to “Double Edged Sword”!

Recent Review on Mixupload.com:
“Red Sonya is entering on mixupload.com providing a mix with a very funky vibe, knowing how to rip up cool jazzness, beats and basslines when taking off with the first tunes of her track selection - “Texas Toast” by Spettro, “Funked” by VinylAssassins,… The mix cleverly builds with irresistible grooves that nest theirself in your heads mainframe. More of a deep drifty house than tek sound but then, with “The Way You Hold Me” by David Duriez and Jay Tripwire’s “Swang Kong”, the mix breaks off with a pounding bottom groove into tunes from Jesse Rose, Dapayk & Padberg, pushing things forward on the techy edge. If music makes my day, then with mixes like this!”
